Meet Author and Songwriter, Tommy Rice! This introduction shows the prayer room in their home, that he and Deborah would pray together in every morning. You can truly feel God’s presence and a sense of peace in this room. Tommy continues to have daily devotional and prayer in the prayer room with his fur baby, Sophia. Notice how Sophia prays with him, too. Tommy discovered his passion as a songwriter and author after losing his wife, Deborah, to an aggressive form of brain cancer. Throughout her battle, they kept God at the forefront, as they always did together. 3 years later, God called her home. To cope, Tommy began attending grief classes. He was told to write a short story on his experience to share. His classmates suggested he make it into a song – so he headed to Nashville. Shocked after hearing the song, he knew this was God encouraging him to continue. In 4 short weeks, he wrote a book, Miss Her More Today Than Yesterday. IIn 2021, after only 3 months on the radio, Tommy was nominated for 2021 Crossover Artist of the Year. In 2022, he won Country New Group of the Year. In 2023, he was nominated for Country Breakthrough Artist of the Year and, he won Inspirational Song of the Year. He has had all his radio played songs make it onto the New Music Weekly’s Music Charts most highly charted. He is a featured artist on Museboat Live Radio, with his song “Eternal Promise of Love,“ that charted number 7 for the year; out of over 30,000 entries. His song “You Make My Life Complete“ is number 3 on the Museboat Top 25 chart now. His music is also played on IMN music network with 3 chartered number one songs.
